The Vegan Life Festival Athens 2025 is back at Technopolis City of Athens this weekend, 4-5 October. Two full days of talks, cooking workshops, live music, and the country’s largest vegan expo are on the table. It runs 11:00 to 23:00 with free entry. Now in its ninth edition, the rallying theme is “For earth’s sake” and everyone is welcome to celebrate conscious living in the heart of the city.

What does the program offer?

Across both days, you get education, flavor, and entertainment in one easy-to-navigate space. Simple idea, big mix.

  • Talks on health, nutrition, environmental protection, and animal rights, with Greek Sign Language interpretation in real time.
  • Cooking demos by chefs and bloggers, also interpreted in Greek Sign Language.
  • Creative activities for kids so families can enjoy the event together.
  • A charity tattoo corner by Dildo Tattoo that raises funds for animal shelters.
  • Live concerts that set the rhythm across Technopolis.
  • First-aid lessons for people and companion animals.
  • A voluntary blood drive with the National Blood Transfusion Center.
  • A clothes swap bazaar (leftover garments go to Fabric Republic for sustainable reuse).
  • Photography exhibitions that inspire and raise awareness.
  • Greece’s largest vegan marketplace: burgers, pizzas, souvlaki, home-style dishes, clothing, cosmetics, and packaged foods (all in vegan versions).

Why does it matter for Athens?

It’s not just about food trends. The festival strengthens Athens’ community life by promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and civic action. Sign-language access, a blood donation drive, and circular fashion ideas show a city that takes social responsibility seriously, and the Technopolis location makes it easy for people across Attica to join.

What changed since last time?

Organizers mark the ninth year with the new theme “For earth’s sake” and a stronger focus on full accessibility. Talks and demos will include Greek Sign Language interpretation throughout.

How can residents take part?

Admission is free. Drop in 11:00 to 23:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Explore the expo, bring clean clothes for the swap, consider donating blood, and save a slot for a concert or a kids’ workshop.

Where to find more information?

Keep an eye on social media (see www.facebook.com) for updates. The detailed stage schedule and speaker list weren’t in the source and may need a last check closer to the date.

What are the next dates?

Saturday-Sunday, 4-5 October 2025, at Technopolis City of Athens.
