Athens, Attica, Greece – The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) has achieved a significant international distinction, with its School of Business Administration earning a place among the world’s top 300 Business Schools for 2025. This prestigious ranking was awarded by Eduniversal, a renowned global evaluation agency.
Global Recognition for AUEB’s Business School
Eduniversal’s annual list identifies the 1,000 best Business Schools across 153 countries. The ranking methodology is comprehensive, considering various factors such as global reputation, academic accreditations, presence in leading international listings, and membership in global educational organizations. A crucial component of the evaluation process involves votes from the deans of all 1,000 participating institutions.
Based on these stringent criteria, Eduniversal categorizes Business Schools into five tiers of excellence. AUEB’s School of Business Administration was awarded four stars, placing it in the second-highest category, known as the “4 Palmes League – Top Business Schools.” This recognition highlights both the school’s commitment to academic quality and its increasing international standing.
AUEB: The Only Greek Public University in 4 Palmes Category
Notably, AUEB’s Business School is the only Business School from a Greek public university to be included in the elite 4 Palmes category. This places it alongside other institutions of established global prestige, underscoring its strength and competitiveness on the world stage.
Commenting on this significant achievement, Professor Vassilis Vasdekis, Rector of AUEB, stated, “This new international distinction from the widely respected Eduniversal, which consistently ranks AUEB’s School of Business Administration among the top 300 Business Schools worldwide, reaffirms the academic excellence that remains a core value of our University.”
The presence of internationally renowned schools in the same tier as AUEB further emphasizes the high caliber of education and research offered by the university’s Business School. This distinction is expected to further enhance AUEB’s reputation and attract a diverse pool of talented students and faculty.
This ranking serves as a testament to the dedication of AUEB’s faculty, staff, and students in maintaining high academic standards and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence in business education.
