Athens, November 25 – Release Athens 2026 announced today that the renowned Canadian alternative metal/rock band, Three Days Grace, will perform for the first time in Greece. The highly anticipated concert is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, at Water Square, promising an explosive and emotionally charged experience for Greek fans.

Three Days Grace: A Debut Performance in Greece

Formed in 1997, Three Days Grace rose to prominence with their self-titled debut album in 2003, featuring the massive hit “I Hate Everything About You.” This success led to three years of continuous touring, shaping their sound and thematic identity, particularly with the release of “One-X” in 2006, which addressed personal struggles with addiction faced by former vocalist Adam Gontier.

The band continued their success with albums like “Life Starts Now” (2009) and “Transit of Venus” (2012). Following Gontier’s temporary departure in 2013, Matt Walst joined as vocalist, ushering in a new creative period marked by “Human” (2015), “Outsider” (2018), and “Explosions” (2022). These releases showcased their evolving sound while maintaining their characteristic dynamic and deeply charged style.

Gontier’s Return and New Album ‘Alienation’

In 2024, Adam Gontier rejoined the band, with Matt Walst remaining as co-vocalist. This reunion culminated in the recent release of “Alienation,” an album that reaffirms Three Days Grace’s influential status in the alternative metal/rock scene. The band has also attracted a new generation of fans, drawn to their timeless themes and irresistible live energy.

Fans attending the June 28 concert will have the opportunity to sing along to anthems such as “I Hate Everything About You,” “Pain,” “Animal I Have Become,” and “Never Too Late.” Additional artists for Release Athens 2026 are expected to be announced soon.
