Zeekr, the premium EV brand from Geely Group, showed the new 7X at a pop-up inside The Mall Athens yesterday around noon. Shoppers can get right up to the car and book test drives alongside the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, with the brand saying all models are ready to order in Greece, starting at €34,990.

What do residents gain from Zeekr’s entry?

The pop-up adds another option to Athens’ growing EV scene, mixing modern tech with a focus on safety. Press info says Zeekr models carry up to a 10-year warranty and have five stars in Euro NCAP and Green NCAP, covering what city drivers ask about most: efficiency, protection and reliability.

Who attended the event?

The showcase drew shoppers and EV fans at The Mall Athens, backed by the brand’s local team. No formal headcount was included in the release.

When and where can you see the 7X?

The pop-up store runs inside The Mall Athens through the end of October, with static displays and accompanied test drives of the 7X, 001 and X. Exact opening hours and how to book weren’t listed in the source material.

How much does it cost?

Zeekr lists Greek prices from €34,990, and the cars are described as immediately available to order and deliver. The company didn’t share a detailed trim-by-trim price list in the material we reviewed.

What stands out in the 7X tech?

Built on the SEA platform, the 7X combines Matrix LED lighting, a full-width rear light bar and wheels up to 21 inches with a stiff body and clean aerodynamics. Inside, power-assisted doors, heated/ventilated/massaging seats, a high-resolution digital cluster and a quick 16-inch infotainment display run on the Snapdragon 8295 processor, and there’s an optional 36.2-inch AR head-up display.

  • 800V system allows DC charging up to 480 kW (brand data).
  • Battery options: 75 kWh LFP (Core) or 100 kWh NMC (Long Range/Performance).
  • Charging times (claimed): AC 22 kW 10-100% in 4.5 h (Core) or 5.5 h (LR/Perf); DC 360 kW 10-80% in 13 min (Core) or 16 min (LR/Perf).
  • Practical touches: 539-litre boot plus 66-litre front trunk.

Why was it worth a visit?

For Athens drivers, the pop-up gives a hands-on look at next-gen EV features and an easy way to set up a test drive without leaving the city. Some basics, like exact test-drive slots or full local specs, weren’t in the press release, so it’s worth checking directly with the brand.
