Corfu, Greece. The Corfu Music School, in collaboration with its 15-member Student Council and the Parents & Guardians Association, is organizing the highly anticipated School Wave Corfu 2026. This one-day festival is a vibrant celebration of youth music creation across Corfu, offering a unique platform for emerging talent.
What is School Wave Corfu 2026?
Following last year’s resounding success, School Wave returns with renewed energy. On May 9th of the previous year, the historic Upper Square was filled with rhythm, music, and hundreds of young people during a concert party that exceeded all expectations. The overwhelming turnout and positive reception from the public underscored the strong demand for an institution dedicated to the island’s youth bands. This year, the organizers are aiming to establish School Wave as an annual musical rendezvous for the youth of Corfu.
Who Can Participate?
The festival extends an open invitation to a diverse range of musical groups:
- Student bands (from Gymnasiums & Lyceums)
- University bands
- All musical genres are welcome, ensuring a rich and varied program.
It’s important to note that School Wave is a participatory and non-competitive event, focusing on fostering creativity and providing performance opportunities rather than competition.
