Lululemon Expands to Greece: Two Debut Stores Open in Athens as European Growth Continues

Athens, Greece, May 23, 2026 – Canadian athleisure brand Lululemon has officially launched in Greece, opening its first two stores in Athens through a new franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group. This strategic move aligns with Lululemon’s ambitious retail expansion plans across Europe.

The inaugural Greek store, located in Kolonaki, a central district of Athens, opened its doors yesterday, May 22. A second store in the Golden Hall shopping mall is scheduled to open on June 12, 2026.

“We’re excited to welcome more guests to Lululemon with the opening of the first stores in Greece, marking another milestone in our continued growth across EMEA,” stated Sarah Clark, Senior Vice President, EMEA, Lululemon. “Together with our franchise partner Arion Retail Group, we look forward to introducing our premium performance products that blend technical innovation with elevated style to new guests in the market and building meaningful connections with the local community here in Athens.”

Kolonaki Store: A Contemporary Retail Experience

The Kolonaki store, spanning approximately 180 square meters, offers a comprehensive range of Lululemon’s products designed for various activities, including yoga, pilates, running, training, tennis, golf, and everyday movement, catering to both men and women. The store’s interior design incorporates natural materials such as textured plaster, terrazzo flooring, and wood finishes, creating a contemporary and modern retail environment consistent with the brand’s global aesthetic.

Golden Hall Location: A Two-Story Community Hub

The second store, situated in the northern Athens suburb of Marousi within the Golden Hall shopping mall, boasts a larger footprint of 290 square meters spread across two floors. This location will also feature a wide selection of Lululemon’s athleisure and performance products for both genders.

Both new retail locations are envisioned as community hubs, aiming to foster connections with local running clubs, fitness studios, and trainers. They will host in-store events and collaborations to strengthen Lululemon’s engagement with the Athenian community.

Continued European and Global Expansion

The entry into the Greek market follows Lululemon’s recent store openings in Poland and Hungary two months prior, underscoring the brand’s accelerated international growth strategy. Further new market entries planned for this year include Romania, Austria, and India, bringing Lululemon’s total new market launches to a record six within a 12-month period.

This expansion highlights Lululemon’s commitment to increasing its global footprint and making its technical apparel and accessories accessible to a wider international audience. The partnership with Arion Retail Group is expected to facilitate a strong market presence and local engagement in Greece.
