Corfu, March 27 – The Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (DEDDIE) of the Corfu region has announced scheduled power interruptions for Sunday, March 29, 2026. These outages are necessary for essential maintenance work on the central Ag. Vasileiou Substation and its Medium Voltage lines.
Affected Areas and Schedule
The power outage will take place from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and will impact the following areas:
- The entire northern part of Corfu, starting from the Tzavrou area.
- The island of Mathraki.
DEDDIE emphasizes that while the scheduled time is from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, work may be completed earlier. Therefore, the DEDDIE networks should be considered continuously “UNDER VOLTAGE” even before the stated completion time.
The company requests the understanding of its customers for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause. These planned interruptions are crucial for maintaining the reliability and safety of the electricity supply network.
Important Notice for Residents
