Chef Nikos Kypsidis, a renowned restaurant owner, was recently a guest on the “RADIOEFIMERIDA” show with Anastasia Kotzakoliou, where he discussed the intensive preparations for the launch of his new restaurant, “Pinocchio,” in Corfu. The grand opening is scheduled for April 1st.

Intensive Preparations Underway for Corfu Opening

Kypsidis stated that preparations are in full swing to ensure everything is perfect for the April 1st launch of “Pinocchio” on the island of Corfu. He noted that approximately 70% of the work has been completed, with the team working tirelessly to meet the deadline.

The chef confirmed that his existing restaurant in Ptolemaida will continue to operate normally with his dedicated team. Kypsidis himself will divide his time between Ptolemaida and Corfu to oversee both establishments.

A Fusion of Flavors: Corfiot, Greek, and Italian Cuisine

The new “Pinocchio” restaurant promises to offer a delightful culinary experience, featuring a blend of beautiful Corfiot recipes with distinct Greek and Italian influences. Kypsidis also mentioned that guests will be welcomed with local dishes from Ptolemaida and Pontian specialties, along with many other surprises.

Prime Location in Mitropoleos Square

The new establishment is strategically located in Mitropoleos Square, adjacent to the Church of Agia Theodora. The restaurant will operate within a traditional neoclassical building that boasts a charming courtyard, providing a unique and inviting atmosphere for diners.

Chef’s Vision for “Pinocchio”

Kypsidis’ vision for “Pinocchio” in Corfu is to create a dining destination that celebrates local Corfiot flavors while incorporating the rich culinary traditions of Greece and Italy. His dedication to offering a diverse menu, coupled with the restaurant’s picturesque location, is expected to make “Pinocchio” a popular spot for both locals and tourists.

The opening of “Pinocchio” marks an exciting new chapter for Chef Nikos Kypsidis, expanding his culinary footprint to the beautiful island of Corfu and promising a fresh take on traditional and contemporary dishes.
