Athens, December 8 – CONVIN S.A., a prominent Greek Professional Congress Organizer (PCO), has successfully facilitated two significant international scientific events in Athens this November, further solidifying the city’s reputation as a dynamic center for knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration.
15th ICCE Global Coach Conference: Shaping the Future of Coaching
From November 20 to 23, the 15th ICCE Global Coach Conference convened at the Eugenides Foundation. This pivotal event, hosted by the International Council for Coaching Excellence in collaboration with the Hellenic Federation of Sports Coaches and Trainers, focused on the theme “The Coach in a fast-advancing technological society – Developing skills for 2030 and beyond.”
The conference brought together experts to explore how rapid technological advancements are transforming coaching practices, athlete development strategies, and educational frameworks. Attendees participated in a diverse program that included keynote speeches, interactive workshops, research symposia, and practical demonstrations. These sessions aimed to address emerging challenges and opportunities within the coaching and sport science communities, fostering global networking and collaboration.
EAPD Athens MIH Symposium: Advancing Paediatric Dental Care
Following the coaching conference, the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (EAPD) hosted the Athens MIH Symposium from November 23 to 24 at the St. George Lycabettus Hotel. This specialized, closed-door meeting gathered 26 leading experts from across Europe to review the latest scientific evidence concerning Molar-Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH).
MIH is a dental condition affecting an increasing number of children globally. Under the expert guidance of specialists, including Professor Sotiria Gizani, the group collaboratively worked to update clinical guidelines for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of MIH. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to long-term improvements in the care provided to young patients and their families affected by this condition.
