SCHOOL WAVE CORFU 2026: The Upper Square Gives the Microphone Back to the New Generation!

Corfu, Greece – The Corfu Music School, in collaboration with its 15-member Student Council and the Parents & Guardians Association, is excited to announce the return of School Wave Corfu 2026. This one-day festival is a vibrant celebration of youth musical creativity on the island.

Building on last year’s immense success, where the historic Upper Square buzzed with music and hundreds of young people in an unforgettable concert party, School Wave is back stronger than ever. The overwhelming turnout and positive reception from the public in 2025 underscored the vital need for an institution dedicated to supporting the island’s emerging young musical talents. This year, the organizers are committed to establishing School Wave as an annual musical rendezvous for the youth of Corfu.

Who Can Participate?

The festival extends an open invitation to a diverse range of musical groups:

  • Student Bands: Open to groups from Gymnasiums (middle schools) and Lyceums (high schools).
  • University Bands: Groups formed by university students are also encouraged to apply.

It is important to note that School Wave is a participatory and non-competitive event, focusing on collaboration and showcasing talent rather than competition.
