Practica Introduces Two New Subsidized Training Programs: Up to €1,500 for Unemployed in Corfu, €750 Nationwide for Unemployed and Employed

Corfu, January 16, 2026 – Practica, a certified training provider by the Ministry of Education, has announced the launch of two new subsidized training programs designed to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. These initiatives offer a dual opportunity for unemployed and employed individuals to upgrade their skills while receiving substantial financial support.

Corfu Program for Unemployed: €1,500 Subsidy

Applications have already commenced for a training program targeting unemployed individuals aged 15-55 in Corfu. This program is part of the “Actions for the Professional and Social Integration of Socially Vulnerable Groups in the Ionian Islands Region” project. It is a comprehensive intervention that includes:

  • 5 counseling sessions for professional orientation.
  • 300 hours of training, divided into 100 hours of remote theory and 200 hours of practical training in businesses.
  • Certification exams for acquired knowledge.

The total subsidy for each beneficiary amounts to €1,500, calculated at €5 per hour of attendance. Eligibility requires participants to be unemployed, aged 15-55, registered with DYPA (with a valid unemployment card), and possess at least a compulsory education certificate.

Nationwide Program for Unemployed & Employed: €750 Subsidy

A new application cycle for DYPA’s subsidized training programs, offering an educational subsidy of €750, is expected to begin shortly nationwide. These voucher-type programs cater to both private sector employees seeking career advancement and unemployed individuals looking for new opportunities. The program includes:

  • Theoretical training of up to 150 hours, delivered remotely.
  • Skills certification.
  • An educational subsidy of €750.

Important Note: The selection process for this program will be based on the order of application submission. Therefore, timely information and preparation are crucial for securing a spot. Individuals who have previously participated in green or digital skills training programs (Voucher) with a subsidy of €400 or €1,000 are not eligible. All information regarding this program is subject to change pending the final call for applications.
