NAO Kerkyra Maintains Unbeaten Record in Water Polo League 2
Corfu, February 2 – NAO Kerkyra extended its impressive winning streak in Group B of the Water Polo League 2, securing an easy 19-11 victory against Niki Volos. This latest triumph marks the team’s ninth consecutive win in nine games, solidifying its dominant position in the league.
OUK Volos and OFI Show Strong Performances
OUK Volos is also on an upward trajectory, having defeated Aris in Thessaloniki with a score of 13-11. Mehdi Yazdankhah was the top scorer for OUK Volos, netting 8 goals, contributing to their five consecutive victories that have propelled them to second place in the standings.
In Group A, OFI has remained unbeaten for six matches, comfortably overcoming NO Agiou Nikolaou with a final score of 16-12. Meanwhile, in Kalamata, Argis managed to snatch a point against Ionikos, drawing 7-7 after equalizing in the final 16 seconds of the game.
