Mar-Bella Collection Announces Significant Upgrades for 2026 Season
Corfu, Greece, April 10, 2026 – The Mar-Bella Collection, a prominent hotel group in the Ionian region, is gearing up for its 2026 season opening on April 24th, introducing a series of substantial enhancements across its four properties in Corfu and Parga. These changes, described as more than aesthetic, aim to redefine the guest experience, particularly addressing the diverse needs of families and adults traveling without children.
The group operates three hotels in Corfu – MarBella, Nido (adults-only), and Avali – all located within 500 meters of each other in Agios Ioannis Peristeron. These properties are now interconnected by a complimentary shuttle service, offering guests staying at any one resort full access to the amenities of all three. This includes nine restaurants, various bars, swimming pools, and a wide array of activities, without any additional charges. This innovative approach aims to combat monotony, a common challenge in resort stays, by providing unparalleled variety and flexibility.
Elevated Culinary Experiences
The 2026 season brings a fresh culinary landscape to the Mar-Bella Collection. At MarBella, the Kuzina restaurant is relaunching with an Italian identity, focusing on light lunches and signature dinners, moving away from a traditional buffet concept. The Deck Bar & Grill is being transformed into a Greek tavern, offering traditional meze dishes with stunning sea views – a seemingly obvious yet often poorly executed concept within resorts. Avali introduces the new Stià Grill, featuring a contemporary Mediterranean grill in a picturesque beachfront setting. At Nido, the San Giovanni will maintain its buffet while adding premium à la carte main course options for guests seeking an elevated dining experience without venturing outside the resort.
Prioritizing Tranquility: Adults-Only Zones
A significant operational shift for 2026 is the increased emphasis on tranquility and adults-only spaces. At Elix, a new Level 10 lounge bar will open exclusively for adults, boasting panoramic views. MarBella will also introduce adults-only zones within selected restaurants. Furthermore, the private pools of the Bungalow Suites and Swim Up rooms will be heated to 24°C from the beginning to the end of the season. These changes reflect a recognition that while the resort maintains its family-friendly character, guests have varying preferences for their vacation experience.
The MarBella Corfu Elix, located in Karavostasi near Perdika Thesprotias, also benefits from these broader enhancements.
The Return of Greek Chefs Abroad and Wellness Programs
Now in its sixth year, the acclaimed “Greek Chefs Abroad” program returns with the theme “Tradition to Table.” This initiative features internationally recognized Greek chefs collaborating with local producers from Corfu and Epirus to create unique culinary experiences. In parallel, the resorts will host wellness weeks in partnership with Oyogo London, offering complimentary yoga, pilates, and functional workouts from May to September. This inclusion of extensive wellness activities without extra charge is a notable offering for resorts of this scale.
Technological Advancements for Seamless Stays
Behind the scenes, the Mar-Bella Collection is rolling out a new mobile application and the MConnect service. This allows guests to make restaurant and activity reservations via app, WhatsApp, and email, significantly reducing wait times at reception and freeing up more time for relaxation by the pool. While such technological integration is becoming a standard expectation in 2026, its absence in many other resorts highlights Mar-Bella Collection’s commitment to modern guest service.
