BARI, Italy – The ECO FLOW project, an initiative focused on water resource conservation, improving know-how, utilizing innovative technologies, and reducing environmental impact, officially commenced with its kick-off meeting on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The event, held at Palazzo dell’ Acqua in Bari, marked the formal start of collaboration among project partners.
ECO FLOW Project: A Collaborative Effort for Sustainable Water Management
Co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Greece-Italy 2021-2027 Program, the ECO FLOW (Environmental Climate Opportunities For Low-impact Options in Wastewater Treatment) project boasts a total budget of 1,585,923.00 €. Its primary objective is to develop a comprehensive, joint plan for wastewater reuse across Greece and Italy, addressing critical environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices.
During the inaugural meeting, participants outlined the project’s goals, action axes, technical methodologies, and pilot applications.
