Corfu Weather Forecast: Fair Skies and Cold Nights Expected This Sunday and Monday
Corfu, February 22, 2026 – The upcoming days, extending until Thursday, are expected to bring fair weather to Corfu, according to the latest forecasts. A high-pressure system from the Azores, shifting towards the Mediterranean, will create mild climatic conditions across Greece, further aided by high-pressure systems originating from North Africa.
Detailed Weather Outlook for Corfu: Sunday and Monday
Sunday: Expect sunshine and some cloud cover. Winds will initially blow from the northeast at up to 3 Beaufort. By midday, there will be a change in direction and intensity, with winds shifting to north-northwesterly at up to 6 Beaufort, and reaching up to 7 Beaufort in the northwestern parts of the island. Wind intensity will decrease from the evening onwards. Temperatures will reach a high of 14°C, with lows dropping to 2°C, and even as low as 0°C in some areas. This significant temperature drop is attributed to cold air masses from the Balkans, where snowfall has occurred, reinforced by Bora-type winds. Humidity levels will be low during the day, reaching up to 77% at night.
Monday: Sunshine and light cloud cover are anticipated. Winds will be variable, reaching up to 3 Beaufort locally. In the afternoon, winds will shift to northwesterly with the same intensity. Temperatures will reach a high of 15°C, with lows ranging from 5 to 6°C. Humidity levels will remain low during the day, reaching up to 88% at night.
Impact of Bora Winds on Corfu’s Climate
It is noteworthy that, in addition to the low minimum temperatures, humidity levels will also remain low, at least during the day. This is again due to the prevailing Bora-type winds, whose dry nature helps maintain a clear atmosphere.
