Athens, May 16, 2026 – The Athens Jazz Festival, a cornerstone of the Greek and international music scene, is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a diverse and vibrant program. From May 25 to May 31, 2026, Technopolis City of Athens will host this landmark event, which promises a week of top-tier musical performances and a renewed visual identity, all with free admission.
A Quarter Century of Jazz in Athens
Marking a quarter-century of sounds, musical explorations, and moments that have transformed the city’s pulse, the festival places jazz at its core: free, restless, and unpredictable. This year’s anniversary is celebrated not only with music but also reflected in every image, every beat, and every corner of Technopolis, filling the heart of Athens with color and energy.
New Visual Identity: A Jam Session of Images
The iconic logo of the festival undergoes a transformation through a visual jam session of textures and ideas. The identity of the 25th Athens Jazz retains its form and memory, ‘dressing’ it with 25 different textures. From vintage to future, and from raw to digital and three-dimensional, 25 visual statements and stories are created. Just like music itself, Athens Jazz is never the same but always recognizable, building a strong identity that constantly evolves.
An International, Multifaceted Celebration
The 25th edition arrives bolder, more extroverted, and livelier than ever. The festival’s international program crosses borders and redefines the boundaries of contemporary jazz. The Greek night (Monday, May 25) maintains its special place. For this celebratory year, its format changes, and the stage is handed over to protagonists from previous years, presenting two unique projects that honor what came before.
