The week concludes with a unique DJ session, “you are invited: discosnails,” on Sunday, December 14, from 19:00 to 22:00, in the lounge space of Onassis Ready. Street Outdoors Soundsystem (Jiles & Jose Amba) will curate an unconventional back-to-back set, spanning contemporary house, rare disco, and techno, creating a musical journey that complements Juergen Teller’s exhibition. Theatrical Return: “Diary of a Madman” at Kykladon Street Theatre
For theatre enthusiasts, Stathis Livathinos brings Nikolai Gogol’s emblematic text, “Diary of a Madman,” back to the Kykladon Street Theatre – Lefteris Voyatzis for a second season. Premiering on December 15, the production offers a limited number of performances. The play centers on Aksenty Ivanovich Poprishchin, a minor clerk struggling with social hierarchy and a sense of failure. His inner journey, sparked by a fleeting affection for the Director’s daughter, blurs the lines between reality, imagination, and madness. The production, featuring Giorgos Dabas, Nestoras Kopsidas, and Lilly Meleme, portrays Poprishchin not as a caricature but as a vulnerable, deeply human figure seeking escape from his circumstances.
