With a sense of social responsibility and solidarity, the AHEPA Corcyra HJ-34 chapter proceeded with a food donation to the Association of Large Families of Corfu, ahead of the Easter holidays. This action is part of the chapter’s ongoing initiatives to support the local community, especially families in need, highlighting in practice the fundamental values of AHEPA: offering, solidarity, and responsibility.

AHEPA’s Commitment to Community Support

The AHEPA Corfu chapter emphasizes its appreciation for the significant work carried out by the Association of Large Families of Corfu and reaffirms its commitment to continue supporting every action that strengthens social cohesion and supports the Greek family. The food items offered were selected based on the needs indicated by the Association of Large Families itself, which supports more than 150 families on our island. This ensures that the assistance is substantial and responds to real needs.

Impact on Over 150 Families

This initiative underscores AHEPA’s dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of those facing hardship. By directly addressing the needs identified by the Association, AHEPA ensures that its efforts are both effective and impactful. The collaboration between AHEPA and the Association of Large Families serves as a model for community engagement and support.

Ongoing Social Initiatives

Consistently and with a sense of responsibility, our chapter will continue to implement initiatives with a social dimension, actively contributing to the formation of a framework of solidarity and offering in the local community. This commitment reflects AHEPA’s broader mission to promote the principles of Hellenism, education, philanthropy, and civic responsibility.

The donation, made on April 8, 2026, highlights the timely support provided to families during a period of increased need, ensuring they can observe the Easter holidays with greater ease and dignity. Such acts of generosity are crucial in fostering a stronger, more supportive community.
