The ADEDY (Supreme Administration of Civil Servants’ Unions) Regional Department of Corfu has published a detailed schedule for upcoming elections to choose a new Executive Secretariat. These elections, required under new operating regulations, are set for November 28, 2025, with several key deadlines before the vote.
WHY ARE THESE ELECTIONS TAKING PLACE?
Under the new Operating Regulations for Regional Departments, approved by ADEDY’s General Council on June 14, 2024, all Regional Department Secretariats will have their terms aligned with ADEDY’s main term. As a result, all Regional Department Secretariats’ terms expire on November 30, 2025, regardless of when they were originally elected (Article 19 of the Operating Regulations).
This standardization is meant to bring consistency across all regional branches and support coordinated governance throughout the organization.
