KINO Athens and T.A.F. / the art foundation are pleased to announce the launch of a new film club series, which will take place at T.A.F. / the art foundation (Normanou 5, Athens 105 55). This collaboration aims to establish a new space for collective cinematic experiences, dialogue, and exploration of contemporary film culture in the center of Athens.

A New Hub for Independent and Experimental Cinema

This new initiative aspires to bring together creators, artists, cinephiles, students, and the wider public through regular screenings that will highlight independent cinema, cult classics, experimental works, documentaries, and contemporary international film productions. The film club, set within the unique venue of T.A.F., will serve as an open platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences, approaching cinema not merely as a form of entertainment but as a social, political, and artistic experience.

Each session will feature curated screenings, introductions, discussions with invited guests, and open dialogue with the audience, enhancing the collective experience surrounding the art of moving images and contemporary storytelling. Through this partnership, KINO Athens and T.A.F. seek to strengthen the city’s independent cultural landscape and create new opportunities for connection between cinema and contemporary artistic creation.
