This initiative is part of the international ‘Women Empower’ campaign by Hard Rock International and Coca-Cola, aiming to highlight the challenges and successes of women globally, particularly in a sector where less than 5% of music and media creators are women.
Showcasing Women’s Journeys in Music
The campaign features a series of micro-documentaries that delve into the creative paths, inspirations, challenges, and triumphs of six women working in diverse roles across the international music industry. These inspiring individuals include:

- Minami Minami – Composer / Dancer / Singer
- Claire Murphy – Guitar Tech

Live Music and Special Offers Throughout March
Beyond the compelling documentaries, the Hard Rock Cafe Athens will host a new female band every Friday throughout March, creating an energetic and creative atmosphere. Additionally, from 8:30 PM to 11:00 PM, a ‘Happy Hour’ will be offered exclusively for women. On March 8th, International Women’s Day, the Hard Rock Cafe Athens will host a special Brunch and DJ set, curated by women for women, further emphasizing the spirit of empowerment.
A Culinary Journey Inspired by ‘Women Empower’
To complement the ‘Women Empower’ experience, a special menu has been crafted, drawing inspiration from the diverse cultures and regions represented by the women featured in the campaign. Guests can savor refreshing signature beverages such as the Passionfruit Splash, Mango Guava Chiller, and Spiced Yuzu Soda with Coca-Cola. Culinary highlights include the Fattoush Chicken Caesar Salad and the Hake Sandwich, with the Dulce de Leche Brownie providing a sweet conclusion to the meal.

The ‘Women Empower’ initiative underscores Hard Rock International’s broader commitment to supporting women in music and the arts. This commitment is tangibly demonstrated through a $100,000 donation to the non-profit organization Women in Music, which is dedicated to educating and empowering women worldwide.
