The largest gathering of Peloponnesian wines is set to return to Athens! On Monday, January 19, 2026, from 13:00 to 21:00, Aegli Zappeiou will host the Peloponnese Wine Festival, an institution that highlights Greece’s most emblematic vineyard.

55 Wineries Showcase Peloponnesian Excellence

This year’s event will feature 55 wineries from across the Peloponnese, offering attendees a unique opportunity to discover:

  • Historical zones and significant grape varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Roditis, Mavrodaphne, and Kidonitsa.
  • The new generation of producers who are redefining the style and expression of Peloponnesian wine.
  • Wineries presenting their products to the Athenian public for the first time.

The festival aims to provide a comprehensive experience for both wine connoisseurs and newcomers, allowing them to delve into the rich winemaking tradition and innovation of the Peloponnese region.

Unfolding the Value: A Selection Under 12€

A parallel initiative, “Unfolding the Value: A Selection Under 12€,” will be a thematic section focusing on a curated selection of wines with a retail price of up to 12€. This segment aims to highlight the dynamic presence of Peloponnesian wines in the more accessible market. These labels offer an excellent quality-to-price ratio, without compromising on character, balance, or terroir expression. This action underscores the unpretentious, everyday, and delightful side of Peloponnesian wines, making high-quality options available to a broader audience.

The Peloponnese Wine Festival will take place at Aegli Zappeiou, Athens, on January 19, 2026, from 13:00 to 21:00. This central and prestigious venue provides an ideal setting for showcasing the diverse range of Peloponnesian wines.

A Celebration of Greek Winemaking

The Peloponnese Wine Festival is more than just a tasting event; it is a celebration of Greek winemaking heritage and its vibrant future.
