Analysis of Low Turnout

The significant drop in voter participation, from 2,000 in 2021 to 480 in the recent elections, has raised questions within the party. This substantial decrease suggests a potential shift in member engagement or other underlying factors that may warrant further investigation by the New Democracy party’s regional branch.

The internal elections are crucial for shaping the local leadership and direction of the party, and a lower turnout could impact the perceived mandate of the newly elected officials.

Further details and analysis of the election results were discussed in the program ‘LOGOS ANTILOGOS’ on November 23, 2025.
