FNL is rolling out its first midday event in Athens with a one-off Champagne & cigar brunch at the acclaimed Beefbar Athens on Saturday, 18 October, starting at 1:00 pm. Set inside the Four Seasons Astir Palace in Vouliagmeni, the gathering brings together Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and a Belvedere Bloody Mary with a curated brunch menu, and, if the weather plays along, wraps with an optional cigar moment on the terrace overlooking Astir Bay.
What will this Athens brunch serve?
The kitchen at Beefbar Athens will lay out a generous spread that mirrors the venue’s much-praised weekend lineup. Guests can expect a bread trolley from the in-house bakery, eggs pane with potato foam and Kobe beef cecina, plus lobster tacos and rock corn. It all finishes with the restaurant’s signature burger and fries, served alongside a bold Belvedere Bloody Mary, while Ruinart Blanc de Blancs stays in the glass throughout.
Why Ruinart Blanc de Blancs?
This emblematic cuvée from a historic Champagne house is crafted entirely from Chardonnay, showing Ruinart’s elegant, citrus-led style. Its freshness and clean cut make it a natural match for the seafood small plates and it also stands up nicely to the richer notes of the signature burger.
Why is this FNL event special?
Beyond the address at Apollonos 40 in Vouliagmeni, this is the first time FNL hosts a midday gathering, planned as a relaxed yet polished social occasion for the local food and drink community. If the weather cooperates, the closing cigar service moves outdoors to the terrace with wide views of the Athens Riviera.
Who is behind the cigar pairing?
The optional cigar is the newly released Davidoff Chefs Edition 2025, a limited collaborative blend developed with leading chefs: three-starred Paolo Casagrande (Lasarte, Barcelona) and Christian Bau (Victor’s Fine Dining, Germany), two-starred Kirk Westaway (Jaan, Singapore) and Nick Bril (The Jane, Belgium), and one-starred Michael Beltran (Ariete, Miami). Availability in Greece is very limited, which underscores the collector appeal of this pairing.
How do you book, and what does it cost?
The participation fee is €145 per person; adding the cigar costs €55 extra. Registration is handled via the FNL website and requires logging in to access the form. Spots are assigned on a first come, first served basis, and bookings are confirmed after payment is received by bank transfer.
What are the key dates and where is it held?
Attendance should be registered no later than Friday, 10 October. The event takes place on Saturday, 18 October at 1:00 pm at Beefbar Athens, Four Seasons Astir Palace, Apollonos 40, Vouliagmeni, within the city of Athens and easy to reach from the Athens Riviera.
Where to find more information?
Full details and the registration form are available on the FNL event page after login. Organizers encourage early sign-ups due to limited seating and the small allocation of Davidoff Chefs Edition 2025 cigars.
